My friend tells me I have a trojan horse but I'm not sure. The main problem is that the screen would go black, then it would return to normal. Unless I'm playing a certain game that always crashes my computer, then it wouldnt go back to normal unless I hold down the power button and turn it off. When I do that it turns on slower than usual. I looked this up and it told me to do something on my computer (I cant really remember, im not that good with computers), so now it happens much less, it only ever happens when I'm playing games (i play roblox, so it isnt anything major). Never when I'm browsing the internet or watching videos. Whats going on, I really hope it isnt a trojan. Also I rarely get pop ups, and when I do its when I'm on the internet and while I'm doing something, google chrome, in the background, something in there would take me to a site which would either be blocked by my anti virus system or something telling me ive won a free apple product.I always close chrome completely when that happens.

I've been addicted to porn in the past, and I'm now trying to go clean. However, it does not help that almost every time I go somewhere online, I get a big number of sexual and/or pornographic ads. I'm led to understand that this is because my IP was registered as searching for lots of porn, and therefore ads believe I'm interested in this stuff. Is there some way to get rid of this? Not a temporary solution that will cover them up, an actual way of removing this kind of ad from ever showing up again in my browser.

  • Can someone "hack" my pc just by using my IP address?

The most someone can do to you is DDOS you, which costs a lot of money and a single person would be hard pressed to keep your internet down for more than 10 minutes at a time. Besides that, an ip address is really worthless.

Hey guys, so today I received what I now think is a phishing email on my school email account. I accidentally clicked on the link because my school sends periodic verification emails, but when I did, there was a popup that said, "you are about to proceed to an unsafe website, do you wish to continue", to which I said no, and I exited. I deleted the email, and also deleted it from my trash. I immediately ran a malware scan, to which nothing showed up. My question is, do you think the link actually went through or did I exit in time? I just changed my passwords and I don't think I want to do that again? Thanks.
