• Neighbors have their dog on the lose. He's a big tall dog who likes chasing our truck tires everytime we leave. They are irresponsible.?

Best answer: Call your local authorities to come pick him up. If you can talk to the owners, do, but you'll probably only get verbal. If people are that irresponsible with their animals, they are unlikely to listen to you.

OH MY GOD!!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE I AGREED TO THIS!!! For starters, I have nothing against animals. I love animals, I just don't own any and never want to. My sister's have had 2 dogs and they were nice but too big of a responsibility for me. Anyway, the other day I was out drinking with a friend I just started dating. I was a bit tipsy and she asked if I could watch her new puppy. It's 2 months old, I forgot what kind of puppy it is, it's just brown, black, furry, and it's pissing me off now. At first I felt bad but honestly now I'm just pissed off and I can't wait to give him back. The problem is, it won't stop crying. AT ALL!!! He just wants me to hold him. That's the only way he'll stop cry and I need SLEEP!!! It's been almost 5 hours!!! I put his little fluffy pillow crate thing right next to me. He's free to crawl around all over the bed wherever he wants and he still won't shut up man! He's crying as if he's being tortured as loud as his tiny *** lungs let em and it's driving me crazy!!! I felt bad at first but I'm tired damn it and this girl won't answer! What do I do? I want to put his leash on and tie a rope to it so he can be free to do whatever the hell he wants and cry his little *** off outside but I'm afraid another animal will hurt him and I feel bad leaving him alone but I seriously need my sleep!!!! He honestly won't stop unless I'm holding him. I tried telling him to be quiet when he stops for a few seconds and tried giving him treats but nothing works!

Best answer: Dogs have minds of their own, ANY dog can randomly attack, just like any human or animal under the correct circumstances, so the problem isn't necessarily that pitbulls are any more likely to attack than any other breed, it's that given the breed characteristics such as powerful jaws and a temperment that requires them to keep fighting regardless of what happens to them, when they do randomly attack they do more significant damage than other breeds, potentially killing the human that was attacked, this makes the attack "news" so people hear about it.

That said I cannot stand when people say that its based on the owner -- NOOOOO! they are animals, they can snap at any time like any animal! Every time you hear of a dog mauling a toddler you hear the owner saying "They never bit anyone before" Pits are bred to be powerful, they are not a dangerous breed because they are more likely to attack, but because it only takes once to kill someone!

Hello! I've recently bought a house, and I've been thinking about adopting a dog. I've had smaller dogs before when I was younger and lived with my parents (jack russel mix, a chihuahua, a lab mix and a blue heeler), and consider myself an experienced and attentive owner, but I think maybe a larger dog would better suit my lifestyle. There is quite a few rescue foundations, and a Prairie Pitbull Rescue foundation thats close by that I've looked at. I have a pretty average sized fenced in backyard, so there is lots of room for activities, and go on daily 5-9 KM runs. I am relatively outdoorsy on weekends and days off, but I am a University student, and I am away for 4-7 hours a day when the school semester starts up again, with occasional 5 hour shifts at my part time job. Its a relatively large house, and I'm renting some of the rooms out to friends who would also be home occasionally between classes and such, but I want to have some other opinions on this subject. I personally believe that I can provide a dog with what its needs, and spoil it with exercise and love, however I've never owned a larger dog such as a pitbull, and I was hoping to get some advice on whether or not this would be a good idea. Thank you! :)

I m still 16, so basically "a kid" and my parents won t take me seriously when I ask. I feel like I ve done everything, from getting good grades, cleaning up after myself, taking good care of my current pets (birds), and just generally being a good kid. But every time I ask, they always give me the same "it s going to become our dog" excuse. They keep telling me that I m going to get busy with friends, that I ll have school work, and that I ll get a boyfriend. The main reason I want a dog is because my friends don t really like me... I ve done my research about expenses, breeds, training et cetera, but my parents get impatient and I never get to the part where I explain anything. Most of the time, they ve just said no. I ve been patient and waited, but I just don t know how long I ll be able to go. I miss my other dog dearly, and I just want a second chance to really get things right and have a friend. I ve spent too many summer night researching and crying over a dog I might never get. I know I m making my parents seem like the bad guys, but I know they love me. It s just... There are so many good things about dogs that they ll never let me tell them about! No one has allergies, we have the money, and I ve reassured them an ungodly amount of times that I ll be the main caregiver. They re so set on their ways. Please help me, what else can I do to convince my parents to let me have my own dog? I feel like I ve done everything.

I think that you should just keep her; both of my cats were very clingy as kittens, because that's what kittens are like. She just wants your love, her mother might not have wanted her. I know it might be hard at first, but its all worth it.

I will be interested in breeding my female bernese mountain dog/german short hair pointer mix within the next year or so. She almost 3 and is of similar size and shape as a pointer. I would like to stick with a bird dog or another breed of similar size because I do not want the puppies to be too big because of her bernese side. I especially would like a bird dog though because even though I have been unable to train her to hunt, she comes from a long line of good hunters. She shows pointer traits such as occasionally going on point, speed, and great endurance. I know breeding is sometimes seen as a way to improving the breed but mix breeds are sometimes better than pure breeds in my opinion. With that in mind this is my main question. Would the average person with a pure breed even consider breeding with her? And if so, what kind of breeds would be best?

Then they looked up dogs and they all had different opinions about dogs. My parents are rich.Sure they will say yes to getting me a new phone but they arent like the normal rich parents. They will usually make a statement about how I should be more clever. My grades are always A s.Idk how to make them say yes to getting me one. Here are all the reasons they said why they can t get me a nee dog 1) We already have a dog I said yh but he s dumb and I can t even walk him because he bites everyone he sees 2) They are really pricy/expensive I said yes but I will pay for getting him 3) You don t look after the dog u already have I said yeah cuz he bites all of my shoes 4) You don t wash the dog you already have it takes 10 mins while a German shepard takes 2 hours I said yeah cuz look at him whines when gets into water How do I make them get me a dog (When I said my dog bites everything I literally mean EVERYTHING but when he gets to know dogs and cats he s playful)
